This educational platform documents inclusive stories of performers of the past, and brings exquisite handmade vintage costumes new life. 

Together, we will explore the glitter and glamour of the striptease nightlife and celebrate the beautiful timeless moments as well as unveiling and unpacking the problematic side of this history, in an effort to create a more united future together. 

On this platform we'll highlight careers of performers, their personal stories, photos and how they paved the way for modern day performers. 

It is imperative to honor the successes and celebrations of striptease Kings and Queens of the past, it’s equally essential that we see ways in which we can pave a smoother road ahead and build a more inclusive lifestyle within the sex work industry. 

Stripping History is an educational resource in celebration of those who proudly identify as sex workers and striptease artists searching to better understand the history of this complex industry and for those who support the idea that sex work is work and deserves to be compensated as such with all the benefits and entitlements of any other job.
